Annual wellness exams for your dog are the best way to keep your pet as healthy as possible. Bringing your dog in for regular wellness exams is the very best you can do to assure longer life and the highest quality of life for your companion.

Our veterinarians recommend annual exams for puppies and adult dogs and biannual exams for senior dogs. During the wellness exam, we will review your dog’s medical history, record weight, and check vital signs. We will then perform a thorough physical examination.

The wellness exam is an opportunity for you to discuss any questions or concerns you may have about your dog’s health. We can discuss topics such as nutrition, dental care, mobility issues, age related changes, and vaccinations.

We believe in creating individualized wellness care plans that specifically address your dog’s needs.

Preparing for Your Dog’s Exam

On the day of your pet’s wellness appointment, we ask that you bring a stool sample (less than four hours old) and please bring your dog on a leash.

We also recommend that you bring medical files, such as previous vaccination records if this is your dog’s first visit with us.
