Dr. Martin has been part of the great Los Angeles community since 1985.
After earning his doctorate from Oklahoma State University in 1974, he entered into private practice. He was co-owner of the Eagle Rock Pet Clinic until the fall of 1985, at which point he assumed ownership of Parkview Pet Clinic. Our Staff
Chrissy, Office Manager
After graduating from Southern Connecticut State University with a B.S. in Biology, Chrissy returned home to La Crescenta where she lives with three adorable chinchillas and a dove. She’s an active woman and loves adventures from glacier hiking in Alaska to white-water rafting in Costa Rica. Most of her time is spent either at kung fu, which she’s trained for five years, or working hard on her fantasy novel. She also has several articles published in Inside Kung Fu, Montana Outdoors, Jakes, Women in the Outdoors, and Field Trial Magazine.
Rene, Technician
Rene started working at Parkview in 1989 as a kennel attendant. He quickly developed expertise as a technician and is Dr. Martin’s ‘right-hand man’. Rene is a valuable asset to Parkview, taking many of our newer technicians under his wing to further develop their skills. He is a model of what a veterinarian technician should be.
Angela, Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)
Angela graduated from Columbus State Community College with an Associates Degree in Veterinary Technology in 2001. She practiced in Ohio for six years before moving to California in October 2007, and is now licensed with the state of California. She’s married and has three furry kids: Ava, a Pembroke Welsh Corgi, Oscar and Ella, two grey kitties. In her spare time, she enjoys relaxing with her husband and pets, outdoor activities (walking, hiking and the beach), eating out and watching movies.
Miguel, Technician
I started working at Parkview when I was 18. I also worked briefly at Aloro Pet Clinic as well as Porter Pet Hospital before returning to Parkview. I was born in Fresno, California and now live in Burbank. I may look big and mean, but I’m one of the nicest people you will meet. And if you want to talk sports, I’m a huge sports junkie, especially football and the Lakers! I just recently took up boxing.
Amber, Technician
I have been a devoted animal lover since I can remember. I grew up on a small farm in Kansas, where I joined the local 4-H and raised sheep. A few years ago I moved to California and received a degree in Exotic Animal Training and Management at Moorpark College. I am currently in school for my degree and license as a Registered Veterinary Technician. I have worked at Parkview since March 2007. At home I care for my zoo: cat (Jazz), dog (Lefty), two love birds (Peachy & Greeny), and a tank full of fish! Besides caring for animals I enjoy being outdoors, playing softball and volleyball; as well as spending time with family and friends.
Robin, Technician
Hello, my name is Robin. I’m currently attending my second year at Pierce College, majoring in their Registered Vet. Tech Program. I hope to finish my degree and move on to equine medicine. I have worked at Parkview now for two years and love working with the other technicians and my uncle, Dr. Martin.
Golnaz, Technician
Hi! I’m Golnaz. I got my undergraduate education at UCLA and received a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. I am currently applying to veterinary school in hopes of one day opening my own clinic. In addition to my love of animals, I also love Coldplay and Paul Newman! I also GREATLY enjoy being serenaded by our receptionist, Dannelle.
Dannelle, Receptionist
Originally from Pennsylvania, I spent the last four years residing in Nashville, Tennessee attending Belmont University where I earned a B.A in History and a B.S in Psychology. I eventually plan to pursue a higher education in either Law School or a PhD in American History. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, watching movies and playing with my recently adopted puppy, Mila. Other pastimes include singing and dancing, both of which, although I am extremely passionate, I don’t possess an inkling of talent for.
Morgan, Receptionist
I was born and raised in the La Crescenta area. I attended Pasadena City College followed by the University of Southern California where I earned a B.S. in Health Promotion Disease Prevention. FIGHT ON!!! I am currently pursing a career in medicine. I enjoy listening to all genres of music, especially Dannelle’s awesome singing! When not working at Parkview Pet Clinic, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends at t-ball and soccer games, snowboarding in the winter, and hot summer days at the beach.
