  • Amy Parker, DVM

    Amy Parker, DVM

    Dr. Parker received a degree in biology from the University of North Carolina- Charlotte before spending a year in the Congo rainforest studying gorillas.  She attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, completing her final year at the University of Tennessee, graduating in 2006 with a degree in Veterinary Medicine.  She remained at the University of Tennessee as a clinical adviser teaching students anesthesia.  Dr. Parker then moved to California to complete an internship at a specialty hospital and started practicing shortly thereafter.  She spends her time with her 3 cats adopted from the Caribbean (Dew Dew, Mattingley, and Bellybone) and black lab mix (Bixby), mainly enjoying the outdoors and beautiful California weather.
  • Lauren Tang, VMD, MS

    Lauren Tang, VMD, MS

    Dr. Lauren Tang is a native of Southern California.  She earned her Bachelors in Biochemistry with Honors and a Masters in Chemistry from the University of Pennsylvania.  She then stayed in Philadelphia to earn her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, School of Veterinary Medicine.  Upon her return to Southern California, Dr. Tang gained additional training in an intensive Small Animal Medicine and Surgery Internship at VCA West Los Angeles Animal Hospital.  Additionally, Dr. Tang has accumulated diverse experiences through volunteer work.  Dr. Tang has volunteered in rural areas in Costa Rica, Nicaragua, and Native American reservations in Arizona and New Mexico.  She has also participated in numerous spay and neuter programs in Philadelphia and Los Angeles.  Dr. Tang is known for compassion for her patients and clients, and her thoroughness in providing excellent patient care.  She treats a wide variety of emergency and non-emergency cases with a keen interest in soft tissue surgery.  Besides work, Dr. Tang enjoys cooking, music, traveling and playing with her dogs Callie, Daphne and Lola.
